Incredible opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a growing independent firm based in Horsforth.
You will have the opportunity to work within the Accounts and Audit team, giving you a variety of experience and the chance to keep your work varied.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking statutory audit assignments as part of a wider audit team.
- Preparing year end statutory accounts under FRS105 and FRS102 and drafting corporation tax computations.
- Involvement with occasional additional work such as business valuations, tax planning, and due diligence assignments.
- Assisting clients as required with bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud-based software packages such as Xero and Quickbooks.
- This role is split roughly 50/50 with accounts and audit.
As a Trainee Accountant, you will need:
- 1+ years' experience working as a Trainee Accountant in an Accountancy firm.
- Studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
- Experience in Accounts preparation is key.
- Audit experience is not required but must be eager to learn.
- Exposure to any of the following accounting packages would be advantageous: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks.
