Chemistry Lecturer

We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry Lecturer to join our client's academic team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry across Level 1 to Level 3, including Access to nursing courses. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Chemistry and a passion for education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Chemistry to students across various levels, from Level 1 to Level 3, including Access courses.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that reflect the curriculum and the educational needs of the students.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students during office hours.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Chemistry and incorporate new findings into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Prior experience in teaching or lecturing, preferably in a post-secondary education setting.
- Strong understanding of the subject matter and the ability to convey complex concepts to students of varying levels of ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student success.
- Flexibility to work 3 days a week, from Wednesday to Friday.
