I am delighted to be partnering a growing business based in Ipswich looking for an experienced Accountant on a full time basis.
Duties will include:
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Review of monthly nominal ledger
- Overseeing the chasing of Aged Debtors each month
- Day to day processing of purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders and ensuring the company's approval process is adhered to throughout the purchase ledger
- Sign off of Purchase Ledger invoices
- Preparing payment proposals in line with cashflow forecasts and liaising with the Company Accountant to ensure payments are made on time
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to the purchase ledger accounts
- Dealing with queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Management of petty cash
- Accounts filing of purchase ledger invoices to be kept up to date
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Understanding of Sage accounts
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger experience is essential
- Good Excel and systems knowledge
- Team player mentality
