Are you an ACA / ACCA qualified Statutory Accounts Senior or Business Services Senior looking to upgrade to a modern and rapidly growing practice based in a prime location in Central London (City location)? If so, this growing accountancy practice firm with 30 staff based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit a qualified Accounts Senior due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for mainly Ltd companies under FRS 102, corporation tax returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as management accounts, VAT returns, various reports, analysis and business management assignments and staff management / review work more junior staff prepare. You can also get exposure to audit assignments if you wish. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a growing team that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future.
To be considered for this new role (June 2024) you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA (either recently qualified or a finalist with a few exams remaining) and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up or be working for a larger practice and looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages, would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern firm where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and learn new skills so you can progress to managerial level in the future. You also must have experience of preparing FRS 102 accounts.
