This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join one of the UK's leading corporate law firms with offices based in the heard of the City.

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000

3 days office based, 2 remote (additional flexibility with this dependent on work schedules)

This firm has a brand new opportunity for Business Development Executive OR Business Development Assistant looking to step up to join their successful Business Development team, focusing on a full range of BD & Marketing initiatives for their Corporate, Banking & Finance and IP/IT Commercial practice areas.

Supporting the Senior BD Manager with wider support from the Marketing teams, you will collaborate with Partners and Associates on an array of business development initiatives, developing relationships with Partners and understanding their clients and BD / marketing needs and looking at ways to improve client retention.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities include;

  • Carrying out marketing research on clients, sectors, industries, competitors
  • Assist with planning and drafting pitch proposals in accordance with the specific practice groups
  • Maintaining and updating print and online marketing collateral for allocated practice areas
  • Assisting with organising of all events (both in-house and external)
  • Overseeing referral networks and support the management and delivery of networking initiatives
  • Updating Directories & Membership Lists
  • Manage the process for award entries and submissions
  • CRM – Utilising CRM database in relation to target lists, updating key information, events, etc

Business Development Executive Requirements;

  • Current BD/ marketing experience within a law firm or from the corporate sector
  • Degree educated and/or CIM qualified or studying towards the qualification
  • Excellent BD research and RFP/pitch skills
  • Excellent IT & CRM skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases/CRM systems
