My client a top Global company are currently looking to recruit a to join their team on a contract basis. Please note if successful you will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE. Our client is a full-stack shop consisting of product and portfolio leadership, data engineering, infrastructure and DevOps, data / metadata / knowledge platforms, and AI/ML and analysis platforms. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring our product teams can produce reliable, scalable, and efficient applications. You will champion best approach and practices, with trust and security as your utmost goal. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to adopt latest technologies and practices that drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Skills for the Infrastructure Engineer with Terraform and GCP Experience
- Terraform
- In depth GCP experience
- Docker / Containers / Kubernetes
- Azure DevOps / Github Actions
- Cloud experience (Google Cloud, & Azure), including infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with CI/CD implementations using git and a common CI/CD stack, (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)
- Experience with networking, virtualization, storage, containers, and serverless.
- Deep knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, including toolchains for documentation, testing, operations, and observability)
- Deep expertise in modern software development tools and ways of working (e.g., git/GitHub, DevOps tools, metrics / monitoring,
