Key Essentials:
- This role will be ultimately responsible for overseeing a team involved in analysing, challenging and accepting Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN's) and defect inspection charges following the completion of utility works in the highway
- Responsible for investigating the liability of claims made by various local authorities using NRSWA legislation to dispute charges
- Meeting local authority representatives and contractors whilst investigating dispute charges
- Dealing with outstanding invoices and payments
- Helping defuse negative situations with passed back invoices
- Regularly liaising with local authorities, helping to build strong relationships
- Coordinating with L.A's regards the validity of queries and payment requests
- Processing invoices through the in-house system
Requirements:
- It is essential that you have previous experience as a Streetworks Analyst in a fast-paced utility environment
- Excellent knowledge of streetwork permitting systems, NRSWA legislation and the TMA
- It is essential that you have excellent I.T skills in Microsoft Office packages
