The Role: Beyond Basic Administration
This isn't just about paperwork - you'll be the operational backbone of a dynamic lettings department. Your responsibilities will include:
Tenancy Administration
- Processing tenancy applications and references
- Preparing professional tenancy agreements
- Managing deposit registration processes
- Coordinating move-in and move-out procedures
- Maintaining accurate property records
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensuring all properties have current safety certificates
- Maintaining regulatory compliance records
- Managing the renewal process for documentation
- Keeping landlord and tenant files up to date
- Assisting with property licensing requirements
Communication Hub
- Acting as first point of contact for maintenance queries
- Coordinating with contractors and suppliers
- Supporting property managers and negotiators
- Liaising with tenants and landlords
- Managing property maintenance schedules
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven property administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with property management software
- Professional telephone manner
- Problem-solving skills
- Full clean UK driving licence (preferred)
