Partner Financial are working with a leading logistics organization that has a strong and diverse market presence in their sector. The business is aligned with several high-growth markets and offers a range of truly innovative services used by a wide range of end customers.
As a result of the Group's growth and extensive portfolio, the business requires an individual with proven experience in developing internal governance and strong control frameworks across a complex organisation. The position offers broad stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to collaborate with the board of directors and the wider senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and leading the implementation of a robust financial control framework across the Group
- Documenting process flows and ensuring that controls are in place to mitigate risks
- Challenge and drive Financial Control methodologies forward partnering with senior stakeholders across all business directorates, reviewing risks and controls to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Working with external auditors to ensure the controls framework meets the needs of the business, ensuring an efficient audit process
- Developing and implementing a monitoring process for internal governance purposes, ensuring consistency and compliance across the Group
The successful candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a complex, matrix organisation is essential
- Highly-detail orientated with a methodological approach
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally
- Proven experience driving change and process improvement, with the ability to influence upwards
