Job Title: Senior Property Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Dorking
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm, plus every third Saturday, 9am-1pm (with time off in lieu).
Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience).

Job Overview: My client, a leading property consultancy in Surrey, is seeking a skilled Senior Property Maintenance Coordinator to join their Lettings department. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all maintenance issues are handled swiftly and efficiently. You'll need to be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, capable of multitasking and working both independently and as part of a team. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day property maintenance, resolving issues promptly.
  • Keep landlords, tenants, contractors, and colleagues informed on actions, schedules, and progress.
  • Accurately document all activities in the property management system.
  • Manage and process invoices efficiently.
  • Obtain competitive quotes for repairs on behalf of landlords.
  • Arrange and monitor gas safety certifications.
  • Conduct property inspections, preparing detailed reports
  • Handle deposit returns, mediating between landlords and tenants, and liaising with the tenancy deposit scheme when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative procedures and legislation.
  • Deliver exceptional client service consistently.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in IT, ideally with experience in Reapit.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional, well-presented, and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a good sense of humour.
