Our client, a reputable police organisation, is seeking a motivated and organised Personal Assistant to join their team. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide high-level support to one or two senior employees, enabling them to fulfil their duties effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting individuals who play a crucial role in the organisation.

The role will be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT DUE TO POLICE VETTING CRITERIA YOU MUST HAVE RESIDED WITHIN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive and proactive PA support to senior employees, performing complex and confidential activities with the utmost professionalism.
Serve as a first point of contact, efficiently investigating and resolving queries and issues from internal and external stakeholders.
Manage incoming emails and correspondence, prioritising actions and ensuring timely completion.
Effectively organise diary commitments, making decisions on appointments and meetings, and ensuring the relevant executive/manager is well-prepared.
Communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Plan and administer strategic and tactical level meetings, taking accurate minutes and ensuring all actions are completed.
Assist in coordinating conferences, events, and seminars, ensuring deadlines are met and all logistical arrangements are in place.
Proactively arrange travel, accommodation, and visa requirements based on diary commitments.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a PA or Secretary is essential.
Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
Ability to use initiative and provide solutions to ad hoc problems with minimal supervision.
Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
