Qualified Social Worker

Posted by Remedy Recruitment Group.

Our client, North East Lincolnshire Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Integrated Front Door service.

Minimum 3 days on site in their new office in Grimsby

The Senior Practitioner role forms a key role within the Children's Integrated Front Door (IFD) and ensures that children and families are supported in the most appropriate and effective ways, at the earliest possible opportunity. As with any role within the Integrated Front Door, there is clear legislation and timescales that must be adhered to, and this vacancy would suit anyone who works well under pressure and to strict timescales.

As a Senior Social Work Practitioner, it would be your role to liaise with families and various agencies, to ensure that there are clear plans in place to support a family's needs and respond to risk.

In the first instance where a need/worry is raised for a child, or family and a request for support, or a service is made to the Children's Integrated Front Door, this will be overseen and screened by a Safeguarding manager, who will make the decision that a Senior Social Work Practitioner is best placed to respond to the request and assess risk, within the appropriate timescales, outlined with the BRAG system.
