Day to day responsibilities include:
- Supporting experienced members of the accounts team preparing accounts and business tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Undertaking preparatory work to record and analyse data provided by clients, including bank reconciliations, data input to spreadsheets
- Data input to bookkeeping software including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Review of client accounting records and verification of income and expenses to purchase and sales invoices
- Assistance with preparation of VAT Returns
The ideal candidate will have at least a years' experience working for another recognised, UK based firm of Chartered accountants within client accounting and/or bookkeeping.
