Safety Case Engineer

We are excited to announce that we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Safety Case Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Glasgow, Scotland. Our client is a prominent player in the nuclear sector, and we need someone with exceptional technical skills and attention to detail to join our team.

As a Safety Case Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of potential hazards associated with various activities related to our clients' operations. You will identify risks, assess their severity level, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements. Your role will also involve determining risk levels through data analysis, which entails evaluating different scenarios based on likelihoods of occurrence versus impact should they occur.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a relevant field, along with relevant experience working in the nuclear industry. You must also be familiar with UK regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, as is the ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
