Customer Service and Complaints Advisor

Our client based in Coventry are seeking a customer complaints advisor to join their team. This is a contract basis until November, but may go permanent for the right candidate.

Duties will include:

Support with case management reviews with the Customer Care and service delivery teams.

Deliver a high-quality response to the Ombudsman early and full investigations, additional evidence requests and order compliance.

Engage with partners and relevant teams to pull together evidence against existing and additional evidence requests.

Identify any gaps in evidence, assign responsibility and ensure timely compliance in line with deadlines ordered by the Ombudsman.

Develop a sound understanding of key company policies and procedures to ensure that any risk associated with the management of complaints can be identified and rectified during the complaints process.

Skills and experience required:

Strong understanding of and ability to interpret regulatory obligations underpinning the sector.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Ombudsman Complaint Handling code.

Experiencing in dispute resolution, mediation or dealing with complex complaints.

Great organisational, planning and time management skills to manage caseload, documentation, and meeting deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills are essential for analysing determinations, complex complaints and finding appropriate resolutions.
