The Role

As an Audit Supervisor, you will take on a key role in leading audit projects and ensuring they are successfully completed. You'll work closely with Audit Managers and Partners, overseeing a team of audit trainees while upholding high standards of service for a diverse clientele. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/FRS102, as well as in planning and executing audits that adhere to International Auditing Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/FRS102.
  • Lead the planning and execution of audits for a variety of clients, reporting to an Audit Manager or Partner.
  • Manage audit projects within budget and ensure their timely completion.
  • Effectively manage client expectations and relationships.
  • Supervise and mentor audit trainees, providing feedback, fostering their development, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Draft corporate tax computations.

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong academic record and ideally, first-time exam success.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a practice environment.
  • Proven audit and accounts experience with a diverse clientele.
  • Strong technical skills, with excellent organisational and planning abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, both on-site and remotely.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective client interaction and team leadership.
