Description

  • Assist with managing tenant queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Taking meeting minutes.
  • Update and maintain accurate tenant records and housing databases.
  • Support the team in preparing reports and documentation related to housing services.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely property maintenance.
  • Assist in organising tenant communication, such as letters and notices.
  • Provide administrative support to the housing team as required.
  • Ensure compliance with housing policies and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the overall smooth running of the housing office.

Profile

A successful Housing Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in the not-for-profit or housing sector.
  • Minute taking experience is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Familiarity with housing policies or willingness to learn.
