Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Customer Technologist to join their business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer technologists, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct routine data analysis to monitor KPI performance and produce weekly complaints KPI reports with recommendations.
- Performance Monitoring: Use QMS data to review and enhance product and process performance, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct grower visits to verify quality standards, ensure specifications are met, and assist in the approval and sign-off process for artwork and labels.
- Specification Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer specifications, both paper-based and on customer portals.
- Team Support & Collaboration: Collaborate with the customer account team, including Technical Managers, Commercial Team, and NPD, to contribute to the Customer Business Plan. Provide support and cover for other members of the technical team as needed.
- Project Participation: Participate in assigned projects, delivering results within the given timeframes.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with customers and internal teams, including Technical, Commercial, NPD, Packaging, Operations, and other functional colleagues.
