Junior Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a large and well known Cambridge based company for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, looking to begin an accounting career, to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role will see the successful candidate becoming involved in all aspects of the accounts payable function, duties to include:
- Purchase invoice processing
- Raising and matching purchase orders
- Bank reconciliations
- Payment runs
- Assisting the rest of the department with administrative tasks as required
This client is looking for somebody with a genuine interest in an accounting career, and an enthusiastic and proactive approach.
Candidates must have a good standard of education, and school leavers and graduates will be considered (salary will reflect educational level). You should also have good IT skills, excellent communication skills and a mature and flexible attitude.
