Position: Science Teacher (up to KS5, all sciences)

Start Date: September 2024 (July 2024 for Early Career Teachers)
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Harlow. The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching all sciences up to Key Stage 5 (KS5). This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to start their careers in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across all science subjects up to KS5.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and departmental activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience within the school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge across all sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
- Experience teaching at KS3, KS4, and preferably KS5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
