We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Team Manager to join a team in a 12-bed Home in Nottingham.
This facility provides high-quality care for children aged 10 to 18 who have physical disabilities and/or associated health needs.
Location: Nottingham, NG25
Salary: £25 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Until 31/12 and then a chance of permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Team Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home.
- Ensure the provision of person-centred care that promotes the wellbeing and development of the children in our care.
- Lead and manage a team of care staff, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Work closely with health professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure all health and care needs are met.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a residential care setting, ideally with children or young people with disabilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
