London (4 days office based)

£50K + bonus (£58K OTE)

My client is a leading financial services firm whose expertise spans mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory. They have a strong heritage with a history dating back over two centuries. This role sits within their Corporate Advisory division offering independent expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations and government entities.

This role will be a key member of a small, integrated team, supporting the business through various marketing initiatives.

Key objective:

  • Assist in managing the company's online presence through website and intranet content.
  • Create, update, and distribute Content (long-form) & marketing materials, including brochures, Digital brochures, Email, advertisements, and client mailings.
  • Draft and review content to ensure alignment with company standards and optimal messaging.
  • Manage electronic newsletters and advise teams on best practices for distribution.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to understand and fulfill marketing needs.
  • Develop and submit entries for industry awards, and manage the awards calendar and results.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all Content adhere to brand guidelines and collaborating with the creative services team.
  • Develop internal communications to keep staff informed about marketing activities and campaigns.

Key requirements :

  • Around 4 years' experience in a Content or Marketing position which has writing as it's main focus.
  • Extensive Content Writing experience; PR, Digital, Email, Print etc...
  • Passion for story telling.
  • Experience with award submissions.
  • Familiarity with the financial sector, with previous roles in this field being advantageous.
  • Desire to learn about M&A and financial advisory transactions.
  • Experience working within a large, corporate, global organisation.
  • Extensive experience in producing marketing and communications materials across various channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and workflows simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing website and intranet content.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing mix.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated, preferably in business, marketing, or communications.
