We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, working in schools across Doncaster and the surrounding areas.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant with Prospero Teaching, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the Early Years curriculum.
Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom resources and activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and educational development.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Observe and record childrens progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
Encourage positive behavior and support the schools policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young children, ideally within an EYFS setting.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work on a supply basis.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and eligibility to work in the UK.
