Talent Acquisition Partner

Posted by Higher People LTD.

Higher are a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the HR and Marketing professions. We are pleased to inform you of a new role that we are working on for one of our clients:

Position: Talent Acquisition Partner

Salary: Up to £42,000 plus bonuses

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

What's the background?

You're a recruiter and filling vacancies is your bread and butter but you're ready to get your teeth stuck into something a bit more chunky.

Imagine having a relatively blank canvass and going into an organisation where they want you to take the lead on improving all things recruitment.

As part of a small HR function in a growing business, this isn't about putting bums on seats but looking at the whole recruitment strategy, whilst supporting the hiring of technical roles on a non-volume basis.

Responsibilities:

The role of the Talent Acquisition Partner here is a broad, meaty, yet highly rewarding one.

From writing the recruitment strategy to upskilling managers on interview techniques, implementing an ATS, mapping out the candidate journey and ensuring an amazing candidate experience. These are all things you'll have the opportunity to put your stamp on.

It is a standalone position but very much a part of the broader HR team and you will work closely with the Head of HR to create a high performing function and best-in-class service.

It's not high volume recruitment but more of a skilled and technical nature requiring someone who can utilise search principles and not just posting adverts and sifting through applications.

You don't have to be the finished article and someone who has written a recruitment strategy before but you will need a clear understanding of different go-to market channels and be able to assess which are most suitable, as well as having a strong appreciation for and interest in the candidate experience and employer branding.

Experience needed:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment agency or inhouse recruitment role
  • Incredible communication skills and stakeholder management
  • An element of data appreciation - understanding recruitment metrics and ROI
  • Very much a self-starter with clear ideas of what needs to be done and how to improve practices
  • A strong interest in recruitment marketing, employer branding, and the candidate journey

It's definitely worth talking about the benefits available as they're pretty impressive. The below is only a selection of the vast amount on offer:

  • 25 days' holiday per annum + bank holidays
  • Extra day off for your birthday
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the office
  • On site free parking
  • Employer pension contribution of up to 4%
  • Healthcare cash plan
