Central Employment are delighted to be working with a leading Digital Marketing and Creative agency baaed near Newcastle, as they look to appoint an additional SEO Specialist.

SEO Specialist profile:

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the search engine landscape, with the ability to develop and implement effective campaigns, as well as drive link-building initiatives to improve organic search rankings.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored SEM strategies to achieve their goals and drive results
  • Plan, execute and monitor SEM campaigns across various search engines and platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.)
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for optimisation
  • Optimise ad copy and landing pages for maximum click-through and conversion rates
  • Develop link-building strategies and tactics to increase the number of high-quality links pointing to our website
  • Build relationships with relevant publishers, bloggers, and other webmasters to secure backlinks
  • Perform link audits and analysis to identify and resolve potential issues with client link profiles
  • Conduct regular audits of our website to identify technical issues that may affect search engine rankings
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimising website structure, page speed, and other technical aspects of SEO
  • Work with developers to ensure that website code is optimised for search engines and that best practices are followed
  • Monitor website performance metrics and use data to make data-driven decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in technical SEO and search engine algorithms
  • Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to integrate multi-disciplinary initiatives with other marketing channels (e.g. social media, content marketing, etc.)

Our ideal candidate will have:

The SEO Specialist will have circa 3 years' experience ideally within an agency environment, to join a well-rounded team that values a can-do attitude and delivery of high-quality work.

Essential experience:

  • Experience in SEM, SEO and link building
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies is a plus
  • Google Ads and Bing Ads, certification is a plus
