Digital Marketing & Content Strategist - 15 hours a week

Award-winning employee engagement agency, Sequel Group, is looking for a marketing executive to join its busy team. Flexible 15 hours a week, with once a week in our office near Liverpool Street. About you:

You are proactive and creative and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing plan to enhance and extend our brand presence as leaders in our industry. You will have a relevant background of 5 years or more in a similar role and proven skills in digital marketing. You're confident, self-motivated, and a great team player who quickly gets under the skin of an organisation and its culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain a content planning calendar for Sequel's social channels including the website, LinkedIn and Instagram

  • Manage the execution of social media strategy including:

  • Website - plan and manage fresh content updates.

  • Social media channels - strategy, management, and optimisation.

  • Email campaigns.

  • Article and blog writing.

  • Ensure content links and aligns to the pillars, products and services featured on the website

  • Measure the impact of marketing campaigns

  • Make recommendations for the evolution of social content so that it enhances Sequel's reach and reputation

  • Weekly update on potential incoming leads such as interaction with, and traffic on, social channels

  • Provide a monthly report on the effectiveness of each of our social channels, with agreed key metrics and recommendations to improve (including rankings); and the effectiveness of turning leads into opportunities.

  • Maintain marketing database

  • Manage the pipeline of new leads, qualifying and focusing on those leads rated 4 and 5, and liaising with the Business Development Director and Project Managers on progress/action.

Requirements

  • Proven background in digital marketing and content strategy
  • Strong understanding of social media management and optimisation
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights
  • Experience with lead management and CRM systems is a plus
