Due to ongoing growth and over 8 years of secured work, they are looking for a talented Data Science Engineer to join their team and work on mission-critical data services.
WHAT WILL THE LEAD DATA SCIENCE ENGINEER BE DOING?
As a Lead Data Science Engineer, you will be responsible for leading developing a range of technical solutions focused on data services for National Security customers. You will lead mixed teams at differing experience levels and be at the forefront of customer engagement. You will be integral to engagement, business development and technical strategy.
The work will range from innovating low TRL R&D projects to facilitating the scaling to huge datasets. The work will involve a range of data science work to enable customers make mission critical analysis and decisions.
THE LEAD SCIENCE ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE....
- Experience designing scalable data science platforms
- Leadership experience
- Customer engagement and presales experience
- Experience with Python and / or Python frameworks
- Machine Learning , Deep Learning or NLP
- Data Analytics and data visualisation
- Large data processing using Apache NiFi, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop or Accumulo
- DV clearance, we can't accept applications without DV clearance at this time
IT WOULD BE NICE FOR THE LEAD DATA SCIENCE ENGINEER TO HAVE....
- AWS experience or cloud-based data science solutions
- MLops or DataOps
- Contanerisation using Docker or Kubernetes
- Agile methodologies
- An great attitude towards new and innovative ways to utilise technology
