Finance Analyst

Newly created position in the EMEA Finance team which will be a highly agile position working across the commercial, accounting and operations teams.

Our client is looking for a finance team member who wants to work on developing new and improved processes and delivering projects.

Description

  • Key contributor to finance projects
  • Budgeting and forecasting analysis
  • Learn multiple data warehouses and structures across the EMEA and Americas businesses and how the data flows through to financial reporting
  • Manage key scheme cost management including analysis and cost tracking
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Work with the data team to understand key metrics in the data to inform the finance team of data improvements
  • View to learn Powerbi including building finance dashboards
  • Work with the finance systems team to continue to improve financial metric data across multiple business units
  • Assist the treasury reconciliation teams with variances and data integrity issues.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant- ACA/ACCA/CIMA , with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Finance position
  • Expert knowledge of excel a requirement.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Driven attitude and a desire to expand your skill set.
  • Innovative thinker keen to contribute to automation and improvements to month end and year-end processes.
  • Tech savvy, driven, desire to grow into a career in finance
  • A desire to build their analysis skills using tools like excel, and powerpoint
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills

Job Offer

  • Salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 per year plus package
