The Trafford & Stockport& Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced electrical installations tutor to join the electrical team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

The Role:

This role will involve teaching a mixture of City and Guilds and EAL qualifications. Ranging from level 1 up to level 3, including apprenticeships and T-Levels

As an Electrical Installation Tutor, you will provide supervision of your curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality, and operational targets. You will deliver high-quality, learner-focused education providing a secure and friendly environment for your students to succeed. In your role, you will plan, lead, and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of functional skills, best practices, and quality targets.

We are looking for experienced established tutors to join our growing and high-performing electrical department. The successful candidate will have:

Experience working within the electrical installation industry (minimum 5 years- essential)

Experience teaching electrical installation (Essential)

An Assessor Award qualification (A1) (preferred)

An Internal Verifier qualification (V1) or equivalent would be advantageous.

Relevant vocational qualifications to level 3 in electrical installation. A JIB gold card status is preferred.

Qualified to 18th edition.

Qualified to 2391, although not essential as support can be given to complete this.

Teaching qualifications e.g. DTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent or willing to work towards.

GCSE grade A*-C in English and Math or equivalent
