Salary: £49,788 p/a
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all vehicles are serviced and inspected to VOSA standards, keeping safety as a top priority.
- Diagnose and rectify any faults that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Identify and order necessary parts when required, maintaining a well-stocked inventory.
- Conduct breakdowns as needed, always ready to lend a helping hand.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the company's vehicle maintenance system.
- Keep the workshop facilities, tools, and equipment clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Adhere to correct and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
- Perform routine servicing and repairs such as brakes, gearbox, and clutch repairs.
- Consistently strive to achieve the highest standards of workmanship.
Requirements:
- ADR experience and knowledge is essential.
- Previous experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics is a must.
- Work experience in a busy HGV workshop is highly valued.
- Positive representation of our client to customers and suppliers is key.
- Compliance with all contractual employment obligations is mandatory.
- Adherence to ISO standards is crucial.
- Willingness to participate fully in the company's performance management and development programmes.
- Familiarity with the organisation's Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Dedication to maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
