In this role, the CAD Technician will conduct detailed site surveys and produce precise general arrangement and fabrication drawings. The position also involves designing and detailing layouts and components, ensuring all work meets high standards of accuracy and quality.
The ideal CAD Technician is a detail-oriented professional with a solid background in mechanical engineering and steelwork fabrication. They should be proficient in AutoCAD, with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
The Role:
- Conduct detailed site surveys of existing sites.
- Create general arrangement and fabrication drawings.
- Design and detail layouts and components to a high standard.
The Person:
- Background in mechanical engineering or a similar.
- Experience in steelwork fabrication.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Flexibility to handle schedule changes.
