FP&A Analyst - Sports brand!

We Do Group is exclusively working with a well-known sports brand that is relocating to Surrey!

If you're into sports and interested in working for a consumer-focused business, then this is one of the best roles being recruited in the South East of England!

This role will be focused but not limited to commercial analysis, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contributor to the annual budget and forecasting processes
  • Support and drive all KPIs around budgets, forecasting, and strategic delivery targets
  • Work closely with the sales team to support any finance-related matters
  • Continuously develop the new ERP system to improve reporting and processes
  • Build relationships with external suppliers to ensure operational targets and project deadlines are met
  • Support the core finance team with month-end reporting cycles
  • Maintain accuracy and validity of stock records for on-site and off-site stock
  • Manage working capital, including reporting and forecasting
  • Work closely with the procurement teams to build forecasting and understanding around committed costs
  • Control costs and report variances
  • Take full ownership of margin analysis and operational efficiencies

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Experience working with ERP systems and highly proficient in Excel
  • Ideally have a good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Organized, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, with a passion for delivering objectives, and comfortable challenging existing processes
  • Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients
  • Must be a team player

Salary & Benefits
