Prospero Teaching are looking for a English teacher to work at a 'Good' OFSTED school in Luton for a Long-Term position!

The ability to teach GSCE is required but KS3 and KS4 is highly desired,.

The successful English teacher will be joining a supportive department located within a diverse and vibrant school community, in which student achievement is at the heart of their work.

As a member of their team, you will be paid in line with your main pay scale and will have access to a wide range of resources and the support of an incredible staff team.

The school is committed to finding the right English teacher and as such a lesson observation and interview will be required as a pre-screening measure.

This is also open to ECT's, so if you are a soon-to-be PGCE graduate then please apply! Teachers who have trained overseas but are looking to start a teaching career in London are also encouraged to apply!

English teaching role key responsibilities:

English teaching role requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Overseas trained teacher or ECT and/or soon-to-be PGCE graduate
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching English.
  • The ability to teach up to KS5 is highly desired.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students.
