Parkside Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and fully qualified Press Tool Maker to join our client's growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on existing press tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilise precision machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate and modify tool components.
- Conduct inspections on finished press tools to verify conformance to design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to address tooling-related issues and optimise manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified and apprentice-trained Press Tool Maker.
- Proven experience in metal stamping processes.
- Proficient in precision machining techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tool design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
