This permanent Director of Finance and Resources will report into the Principal and will provide strategic oversight and operational management of the organisation's finances, IT, facilities, and Health & Safety whilst managing a team of five. The role will ensure compliance with financial, legal, tax, and Department for Education regulations.
Key duties for this role will include:
- Manage the organisation's overall financial operations, including the development and implementation of financial strategies.
- Monitor economic indicators and funding trends to support scenario planning and risk management.
- Provide financial analysis to inform decision-making by the Board of Trustees and senior management.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring effective budget control.
- Develop strategies for income generation.
- Lead a team of five, overing continuous support, guidance and coaching.
- Manage the IT function, developing and implementing the IT strategy to ensure alignment with the organisations objectives.
- Be accountable for facilities and health and safety ensuring functionality, safety and sustainability.
