Interim Financial Accountant - 12-Month FTC
Location: Welwyn Garden City

Our client is seeking a skilled Interim Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Welwyn Garden City on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
As part of the finance team, your main focus will be managing and reconciling transactions across multiple legal entities within the EMEA region. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting month-end close processes, and preparing various reports.
- Intercompany Transactions: Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of intercompany balances across EMEA.
- Month-End Processes: Assist in the preparation of accruals, journal postings, and reconciliation of control accounts.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to statutory reporting and provide support for financial consolidation in line with IFRS.
- Process Improvement: Drive improvements in accounting processes and maximise the efficiency of financial systems.
Experience:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/AAT or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting and financial controls.
- Experience in working with large, multi-entity organisations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Highly organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
