Private Client Solicitor / Qualified Legal Executive

Join a progressive and renowned firm of specialist solicitors in Hertfordshire, as a Private Client Solicitor or Qualified Legal Executive. With a history dating back over 200 years, my client is recognised for their professional yet personal service. They are ranked in The Legal 500 and hold various accreditations such as Lexcel, Customer Service Excellence, Cyber Essentials+, and ISO9001. They are looking for a forward-thinking individual with a minimum of 5 years PQE in Private Client work.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare Wills and Trusts for a diverse range of clients.
- Handle the administration of estates throughout the administration process.
- Actively participate in business development activities, including presenting seminars, writing articles and blogs, and networking within the local business community and with key referrers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A qualified and practicing Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in Private Client work.
- Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in Private Client work, including the preparation of Wills and LPAs, and the administration of estates.
- Experience in Older & Vulnerable client work and Court of Protection applications is desirable.
- Active involvement in business development is essential.
- Membership of STEP (Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners) is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a trusting relationship with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage a large volume of work, prioritising effectively while maintaining high levels of accuracy and care.
