Senior Network Engineer - Low Latency - BGP CCIE - Kolo - Investment Bank
12 months, paying up to £700/day Inside IR35 ** 50% hybrid working
Leading financial services client is looking for a Senior Low Latency Network Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. You will support an upcoming Data centre project, moving all services/infrastructure. You will support with project work for all electronic trading systems, across UK, APAC & US, as well as Kolo - exchanges.
Skills and experience required:
- Cisco, CCIE Routing & Switching
- Low Latency, Kolo
- Extensive multicast protocols, PIM, IGMP, MBGP
- Cisco hardware; Nexus 3K, Nexus 9K, 6500E, 4900, 4500, 6800 series Switches
- ASR series and ISR series Routers
- Cisco software IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR
- Ansible & Python Scripting
- Arista 7000 series TAP aggregation
- PTP clock time stamping
- Ethernet 1G/10G/40G/100G
- Protocols/Technologies: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, NAT, QOS, VPN, vPC, VXLAN,
- Traffic analysis tools: Netflow, Solareflare/cStor probes and Wireshark
- Cisco Wireless LAN technologies
- Identity Services Engine
- Adva FSP3000 and XG carrier Ethernet solutions
- Zabbix & Grafana management platforms
- Juniper JUNOS
- Juniper EX series
- ITIL and Change Management experience
