Are you an organised and detail-oriented payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a dynamic team in Birmingham City Centre on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a permanent role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of payroll changes, including tax codes, benefits, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation.
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and data analysis for senior management.
  • Support the HR team with payroll-related administration, including P45s, P60s, and timesheets.
  • Contribute to process improvements to ensure efficient payroll operations.

About You:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and a problem-solving approach.
  • Comfortable working on-site 5 days a week (dropping to 4 after training).
