Global Accounting Network are currently partnered exclusively with a global manufacturing business based near to Slough to recruit for an ACCA or CIMA part-qualified Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is on their way towards qualifying and seeking a role focused heavily on supporting month-end and reporting.
Duties in this Management Accountant job will include preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income and cashflow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS, general ledger reconciliations, managing the month-end and year-end close, tax returns, supporting with audit preparation, bank reconciliations, oversight of accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and supporting FP&A activities. Additionally this role will take responsibility for financial analysis to support commercial decision making, monitoring financial performance of the business and suggesting improvements, communicating financial results to the wider business and working closely across departments to support financial understanding.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant job will be actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA, will have previous experience in a finance role with exposure to month end activities, potentially will hold an Accounting and Finance (or similar) degree or be AAT qualified, have strong MS Excel skills including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, excellent communication skills and should be driven to progress their career.
