Description
- Completing payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.
- Processing high volumes of company invoices and payments on a daily basis.
- Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
- Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
- Providing accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.
Profile
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Will be confident with the duties listed above and will have held a similar role previously.
- Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Job Offer
