Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join their team in safely operating production equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment, from loading to packing of finished products, while adhering to quality standards
- Maximise cost effectiveness by ensuring optimal running and equipment efficiency
- Perform cleaning and inspection activities, and promptly report any equipment issues to the Engineering department for resolution
- Master the operation of multiple machines to provide factory resilience
- Carry out minor mechanical jobs as needed
Hours of Work:
- Rotating shifts of 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am - applicants must be able to work all 3 shifts on weekly rotation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in operating production equipment is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report equipment issues
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
