Production Operative/Machine Operator

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Production Operative/Machine Operator? Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join their team in safely operating production equipment. If you have a passion for ensuring high-quality standards and maximising cost-effectiveness, then this is the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment, from loading to packing of finished products, while adhering to quality standards
  • Maximise cost effectiveness by ensuring optimal running and equipment efficiency
  • Perform cleaning and inspection activities, and promptly report any equipment issues to the Engineering department for resolution
  • Master the operation of multiple machines to provide factory resilience
  • Carry out minor mechanical jobs as needed

Hours of Work:

  • Rotating shifts of 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am - applicants must be able to work all 3 shifts on weekly rotation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in operating production equipment is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report equipment issues
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
