?? Location: Near Stansted Airport
?? Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
?? Contract Details: Temporary (4 months), Full Time, 41 hours paid per week
??Hours of work: 8am until 5pm, Monday - Thursday, 7am until 12pm on Friday (30 minute daily lunch break)
Our client, a prominent organisation in Stansted, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Stores Assistant to join their team. If you have experience in a similar role and possess strong organisational skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
?? Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Stores department, ensuring smooth running
- Receive and inspect raw materials, adhering to specified standards and requirements
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory control of materials
- Book fixtures and assign job cards, optimising efficiency of machine tools
- Monitor and maintain coolant management and briquetting machines
- Keep a clean and tidy working environment, maximising space utilisation
?? Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Computer literate, proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Office
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence and Forklift licence
