Audit & Accounts Manager

The Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Audit & Accounts Manager to join this award-winning firm. You will play a key role within a dynamic team, managing a diverse portfolio of clients across audit and financial reporting. This is a client-facing position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong, professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan, and execute audit and financial reporting assignments for a varied client portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. - Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure technical accuracy. - Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills. - Address complex accounting and audit queries, acting as the main point of contact for your clients. - Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering high levels of client service and communication. - Manage deadlines and workflows effectively to ensure client expectations are met.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong audit and financial reporting experience. - Proven experience in managing audits from planning to completion, ideally within a practice environment. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike. - A proactive and 'can-do' attitude, with a focus on delivering excellent client service. - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
