Job Title: Social Worker (Children in Care)

  • Salary: £38,443 - £50,083 per annum
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent (36 Hours per week)

As a Social Worker, you'll play a crucial role in assessing risks, formulating care plans, and advocating for the well-being of children and young people. From preparing court statements to collaborating with multi-agency teams, your work will shape the futures of those in our care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely assessments and formulate care plans.
  • Collaborate with families and multi-agency colleagues.
  • Prepare court statements and present evidence when necessary.
  • Promote the welfare of children, considering various factors.
  • Provide reports for panels, reviews, and meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge of legislation and social work practices.
  • Manage individual caseloads effectively.
  • Contribute to service development through team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate electronic case records.
