Your new company
Your new company is a large multidisciplinary consultancy that specialises in Defence, Life Sciences, Aviation, Health and Pharma.
Their Salford office is modern and spacious, offering views of the quays and the city. They have over 7000 staff globally and use their global resources of engineers to work across specialisms and offices, resulting in their NW-based offices working on Belgium labs with their local teams.
Experienced members of staff are only tasked to attend the office once per week and junior members of staff three times. The office is opposite a tram stop and also offers free on-site car parking.
Your new role
Your new role will see you using design software such as Revit and IES for thermal modelling, heat gains and losses, natural ventilation, and annual energy consumption.
You will be completing designs and calculations on the sectors mentioned above while working closely with senior members of staff to increase your software capability and Building Services knowledge.
This is a fast-paced role, so learning on the job will be key to success, so your role of senior will also involve aiding junior staff with their designs.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 6 years' UK industry experience and be a British Citizen, as a high level of security clearance is necessary to be involved with the above schemes.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive world-class training, a highly competitive salary, flexible and hybrid working, an electric company car, a 6% pension contribution, a private healthcare scheme, retail vouchers and the chance to purchase an extra weeks' holiday.
