We are looking to recruit a Trade Counter Sales Assistant/Driver at our Roofing Hastings Branch who will provide first class customer service to all customers at the trade counter, partake in local deliveries, and assist with the un-loading and safe storage of deliveries at branch.
What does the role involve?
As a Trade Counter Sales Assistant/Driver, you will process customer orders, replenish trade counter stocks, and provide support to our warehouse team during peak periods. You will also maintain a clean and organized trade counter area and always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. In this role you will also be responsible for delivering customer orders to a schedule and working to timescales, whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
This is the ideal role for an outgoing and personable candidate who has the confidence to take customer orders and provide key product information to customers.
The successful candidate will require:
- Full driving license in order to make local deliveries.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the construction or roofing industry.
- The ability to engage with customers and build relationships using excellent customer service and communication skills.
