Day-to-day of the role:
- Work under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCo to support individual students or small groups.
- Address the specific needs of students to help them overcome barriers to learning.
- Engage with students to facilitate their academic and personal development.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Contribute to the overall ethos, work, and aims of the school.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
