Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours), will also consider part-time
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Spinal Assessment Department at an NHS hospital in Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced physiotherapist to provide expert care to patients with spinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with spinal injuries or conditions.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and improve quality of life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and patient-centred care.
- Provide expert advice and support to junior staff and colleagues within the department.
- You will independently triage referrals, many of which have complex/chronic presentations and determine a clinical diagnosis and working with the medical spinal assessment staff co-ordinate the appropriate path of intervention required including requesting further investigations (bloods/x-rays and MRI scans).
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Significant experience in spinal assessment, rehabilitation and chronic pain
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
