Essential
- Proven experience in managing successful teams and operating in a highly commercial Soft FM environment with great results.
- Experience with working and knowledge of waste.
- Single or multi-site operational experience in a similar role with an understanding of delivering services to exacting specifications within quality and performance management regimes.
- Previous budget management and Profit & Loss account responsibility
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- I.T & computer literate as well as contribution to web-based communications media
- Excellent customer service qualities and high principles in service delivery
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and price sensitive markets.
- Collaborative mindset
- Ability to manage and motivate people.
- A good team player
- Able to exercise a good deal of tact and diplomacy with a professional approach.
- Suitable background for government clearances

Key Responsibilities

Client and Contractual Management:

Maintain effective client relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies and prioritizing safety in all activities.

Support the Head of FM in exceeding contractual obligations and driving continuous improvement.

Sub-Contractor Management:
-
Manage sub-contracted services to meet client expectations, focusing on minimizing KPI failures and financial penalties.

Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, including risk assessments and incident reporting, and implement corrective actions.

Operational Excellence:

Embed and monitor management reporting and quality systems, tracking metrics for contract performance, productivity, and efficiency.

Ensure adherence to profit protection processes and SLAs.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate productive site-level relationships with clients and maintain proactive communication with sub-contractors.

Actively seek feedback and commit to continuous improvement and service excellence.

Training and Development:

Support the ESS Way Commitments program and ensure effective training and development within the team.

Project and Cost Management:

Lead and manage all sub-contractor service projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and provide clear monthly reporting.
